Kansas State point guard Markquis Nowell declared for the 2023 NBA Draft on Wednesday.
“To play in the NBA has been a dream of mine since I was 7 years old and I finally have the opportunity to turn a dream into a reality,” Nowell posted on Twitter.
Nowell set a NCAA tournament record with 19 assists against Michigan State in the Sweet 16.
Nowell transferred to Kansas State from Little Rock, where he was voted first-team All Sun Belt Conference in 2020.
