MLP-Academics-Heidelberg (BBL) inked 26-year old Australian international 203cm forward Jack McVeigh (college: Nebraska). He started the season at Tasmania JackJumpers in Australian NBL league. In 32 games he averaged 14.8ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.5apg. The last season he played also at JackJumpers (NBL) where in 33 games he had 12.2ppg and 4.7rpg. He helped them to make it to the Australian NBL final.
McVeigh has been also a member of Australian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Australian senior team since 2014 and previously for University National Team back in 2017.
McVeigh also represented Australia at the World University Games in Taipei (Taiwan) six years ago. His stats at that event were 8 games: 9.4ppg, 2.9rpg, 2.0apg, 1.0spg, FGP-2 (76.0%), 3PT: 42.3%, FT: 57.1%.
He has played also professionally for other Australian teams like Adelaide 36ers, North Adelaide Rockets and Seahawks.
Among many awards he was voted Australiabasket.com All-Australian Premier League Domestic Player of the Year back in 2019.
McVeigh graduated from University of Nebraska in 2018 and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
