Brandon McCoy

Sioux-Falls-Skyforce inked 24-year old 7-0 forward Brandon McCoy (college: UNLV). McCoy played most recently at Filou Oostende in Belgian Pro Basketball League. In only one Basketball Champions League game he had 11 points, 6 rebounds and 1 block last season. He also played 4 games in BNXT League where he recorded 3.0ppg and 3.3rpg.
McCoy won California Classic NBA Summer League in Sacramento championship title in 2021.
The previous (2021) summer he played at the Heat. In three NBA games he averaged 5.3ppg and 4.3rpg in 2021 year. The other team he played shortly were the Heat. In only one NBA game he got just 2 points and 2 rebounds in 2021 year. Another team he played briefly was Grises in Puerto Rican BSN. In 6 games he got 15.0ppg and 9.5rpg in 2021 year.
Last year (four years after he left the college) he was drafted by Sioux Falls Skyforce (G-League) in second round (16th overall).
The former University of Nevada – Las Vegas star is in his fifth season in pro basketball.
He represented USA at the World Cup U19 in Cairo (Egypt) six years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 7 games: 11.0ppg, 8.3rpg, Blocks-3 (1.6bpg), FGP: 51.7%, FT: 65.4%.
McCoy has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Serbia (Zlatibor), NBA G League (Wisconsin McCoyrd) and NBA Summer League (Minnesota Timberwolves).
He was voted All-MWC Freshman of the Year back in 2018.
