Alan Wiggins

KB-Prizreni-16 (Superliga) signed experienced 37-year old American forward Alan Wiggins (205cm-113kg-1985, college: USF, agency: BIG). Wiggins played recently at HKK Posusje in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I, but left the team in Jan.’23. In 8 games he had very impressive stats: 15.4ppg, 10.4rpg and 1.1apg this season.
In 2007 he was drafted by Jackson Wildcats (USBL) in fourth round (31st overall).
He graduated from University of San Francisco and it is his 16th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Wiggins is quite experienced player. He has played in thirteen different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). Wiggins has played previously professionally in Australia (Adelaide 36ers), Belgium (Antwerp Giants), China (Guangzhou Liu Sui), France (STB Le Havre), Hungary (Sopron KC), Japan (Chiba Jets, Aomori Watts and Saga Ballooners), Korea (Anyang), Latvia (Ventspils), Lebanon, Lithuania (Dzukija), Romania, Turkey (Best Balikesir) and Ukraine (DniproAzot).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team was regular season runner-up in Latvian League in 2016. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Import Player of the Year in 2022.
It’s very possible he may end his playing career at Prizreni.
