Lonzo Ball underwent surgery on his left knee on Wednesday and doctors believe they have successfully addressed the issue plaguing him since he suffered a torn meniscus last January.
There is confidence Ball will be able to return at some point this season despite the expectation he will miss several months.
Ball is entering Year 2 of a four-year, $85 million deal with the Bulls. Ball was a major part of Chicago’s successful start to the 21-22 season.
