Basquet Girona (Liga Endesa) added to their roster 27-year old Serbian power forward Aleksandar Bursac (205cm-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) for new 2022-23 season. Bursac has played for the last two years at KK Zadar in Croatian Premijer Liga. In 34 games he had 7.0ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.3apg last season. He helped them to make it to the Croatian Premijer Liga final. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. Bursac also played 19 games in ABA League where he recorded 6.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.1apg.
He represented Serbia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy) seven years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 9 games: 3.0ppg, 1.6rpg.
Bursac has played also professionally for other Serbian teams like Vrsac, KK Vojvodina Novi Sad and KK FMP Meridian Beograd.
He won Croatian Premijer Liga championship title in 2021.
