The reigning Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion has added an NBA champion to its roster; Anadolu Efes Istanbul signed swingman Elijah Bryant to a two-year deal, the club announced on Monday. Bryant (1.96 meters, 26 years old) joins Efes after finishing last season with Milwaukee, which he helped win the NBA title. After posting 16 points and 6 rebounds in his NBA debut, Bryant came off the bench for 11 games in the playoffs.
Bryant started the season with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, for which he averaged 9.8 points on 36.9% three-point shooting plus 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 34 EuroLeague games last season, including 26 as a starter. It was his second campaign with Maccabi, which he joined from fellow Israeli club Hapoel Eilat where Bryant made his professional debut in 2018.
