After 6 rounds played we can already see who rules in the LKL and who belongs to weaker ones. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Bottom-ranked P.Zvaigzdes (0-5) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Jonava made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Strangely P.Zvaigzdes outrebounded Jonava 40-24 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Belgian point guard Emmanuel Lecomte (180-95, college: Baylor) scored 18 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Evaldas Saulys (191-93) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Jonava’s coach Virginijus Seskus used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Dominican-American guard Marques Townes (193-95, college: Loyola, IL, agency: Slash Sports) with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Jonava have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Rytas and Juventus. P.Zvaigzdes at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Jonava is looking forward to face Nevezis (#8) in Kedainiai in the next round where they are favorite. P.Zvaigzdes will play on the road against Prienai CBet and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Bottom-ranked Prienai CBet (0-4) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to seventh ranked Lietkabelis (3-3) 92-65. Even 14 points by forward Erikas Venskus (205-0) did not help to save the game for Prienai CBet. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lietkabelis moved-up to sixth place. Prienai CBet at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Lietkabelis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
