Devin Booker could return as early as Game 6 on Thursday or a potential Game 7 on Saturday as the Phoenix Suns battle the New Orleans Pelicans.
Booker has made significant progress with his strained right hamstring in recent days. Booker suffered the injury during hte third quarter of Game 2.
Booker would return in limited minutes if he’s cleared.
“He is progressing but there’s no change (to status),” Monty Williams said after a light practice Wednesday in New Orleans. “Any time you have your best player out, you know that guy wants to be on the floor. If it was an elimination game type situation … I’m sure that would have an impact on it.”
