Julius Randle will be the big absentee in the game between the New York Knicks and the Atlanta Hawks. According to reports from Ian Begley of SNY, Randle feels pain in his quadriceps tendon.
For the New York Knicks, it is a pivotal moment of the season and Randle’s absence could be much heavier than expected.
Randle leads the Knicks in points, rebounds, and assists with 20.3, 10, and 5.1. The Knicks are currently tied for 11th place in the Eastern Conference, five games behind the Atlanta Hawks for a seat in a play-in tournament. New York has won two of their last three games but lost three out of five.
