The Philadelphia 76ers announced that former MVP James Harden will be out through the All-Star break while he continues to recover from his left hamstring strain. Harden won’t be playing the All-Star game as well.

Harden was traded last week to the 76ers in a blockbuster trade for Ben Simmons. The Nets received Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two future first-round picks for Harden and Paul Millsap.

The next chance Harden will get to make his 76ers debut will be when Philly plays the Minnesota Timberwolves (30-27) on Feb. 25. Harden has averaged 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 10.2 assists per game on 41.4 percent shooting from the field but a career-low 33.2 percent shooting from deep.
The 76ers (34-22) play the Celtics (33-25) on Tuesday.
